Megapolis
Megapolis is a freemium world-builder game for both iOS and Android platforms in which you are asked to create your dream cityscape. The game begins with a relatively simple plot of an area to use as your city-building canvas. Residential buildings are among the first things you’ll build, as they expand your city’s population with just a click or a tap every time they’re finished.
Businesses such as gas stations, restaurants, and movie cinemas join amenities like basketball courts found in the Infrastructure category. Many structures can be tapped for tax revenue on a daily basis, and all of them can help boost the population cap. Decorations also increase the maximum number of citizens, while Production structures create stuff – unfortunately, not the stuff that you can use to make other things.
Resource structures are things such as water towers and wind turbines, which produce water and power respectively. Every building has water and power needs which have to add up to less than the total amount you are currently producing.
Time and coins will be your primary constraints, as fancier buildings will a lot and take a bite longer to complete. Quests that are displayed on the left side of your screen can help you advance quickly.
Leveling up makes more buildings available to you unless you just can’t wait and want to pay Megabucks to unlock them. Land expansions can only be bought using Megabucks, which do grow slowly as you level. You can have two separate games going on mobile, one that connects with your Facebook account and another hosted on Social Quantum’s own network.
