Jodel
Jodel is another community app. This app works by showing its users on what is happening in their area in real-time. By voting for this app, the users will have the power to decide on what their campus is talking about. In the Jodel community, users can share some of the news, funny experiences, events, open discussions as well as jokes easily.
In another way that the app is being pictured, it’s an online community that acts like the usual or traditional bulletin board. Users can freely post messages that can also be read by other users that are within a specific radius. When users publish a message in this app, they can opt to attach an image or a picture whenever they want even though it’s not that necessary. Other users in the app can either rate the posted message or answer it. With that said, in Jodel, any types of insults, abuse, and other similar behavior are not acceptable.
When it comes to the app’s user interface, it is pretty nice and simple. Each of the messages that the users are posting is framed with different colors. Whenever other users would want to answer some of the posted messages, they can simply press on the message and type down their answers. As to leaving a rate on a message, users will just have to tap on the arrow. Just in case, there are some messages that they want to report, users can just tap on dots. Jodel is obviously a quite interesting online community that similarly works to the now-extinct Secret.
